The city is the stage for our life stories. It is an entity that feeds on the daily routines of all who live there and makes them adjust to its pace. The long waits, the commutes, the crowds, are the central themes of my work.

The city forces us to stay alert, read between the lines and anticipate the unexpected. It constantly overwhelms us with images, noises and smells. In a similar fashion, my work is full of signs and symbols; things overlap taking up all the space, there is no air, no silence, nothing stays still.
​
The small intricate sub worlds we might be able to find within this chaos are an invitation to contemplation and coexistence. My works are visions made up of fragments, carefully chosen and arranged, where accidents are welcome but few things are left to chance.
​
I carefully hand craft each piece without sticking to a single technique or medium. Direct contact with the materials and the marks left on the surface by the tool and the artist’s hand make the work of art a tangible object which tells its own story. In the era of digital technology, immediacy and virtual simulation, being a hands-on artist, directly manipulating the materials I use is my way of resisting the digital invasion and the vertiginous anxiety of modern urban life.

La ciudad es el escenario de nuestras historias, un ente que se alimenta de las rutinas diarias de los que vivimos en ella y nos marca su propio ritmo. Las esperas, los traslados, las multitudes, son los temas centrales en mi obra. ​

La ciudad nos obliga a estar alerta, a leer entre líneas y anticipar lo inesperado; nos satura de imágenes, ruidos y olores. Del mismo modo mi trabajo está lleno de símbolos y señales, los elementos se sobreponen unos a otros llenando el espacio, no queda aire, ni silencio, nada está quieto.

Los pequeños e intricados submundos que podemos ir encontrando en ese caos, invitan al espectador a la contemplación y a la convivencia. Mis cuadros son visiones compuestas de fragmentos cuidadosamente escogidos y colocados donde el accidente es bienvenido, pero pocas cosas se dejan al azar.
​
Sin ceñirme a un medio o técnica exclusivos, mi trabajo es manual y de oficio. El contacto directo con el material y la huella que dejan la herramienta y la mano del artista en la superficie, convierten la obra de arte en un objeto tangible que narra su propia historia. En la era de la tecnología digital, la inmediatez y la simulación virtual, el oficio de artista es mi forma de resistir la invasión digital y la vertiginosa ansiedad de la vida urbana moderna.
